After volunteering for Journey of Love and Hope we all decided to go to Izta for some drinks, but we don't drink so we had delicious food! My hubby and I enjoyed it. The service was great a gentleman explained our food and made sure we had everything we needed. The Ambiance is nice for a gathering with friends for a couple of drinks. Have a valet or self parking it's $7.00 The bathrooms are clean.
Amazing food and service! Carlos was very friendly and attentive ! First time here definitely not the last! Order the gringa tacos and mango margarita. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Oh and GREAT MUSIC!
This place is amazing! The food, drinks and service were perfect! We had the chicken bowl and the chicken was soft and flavorful. The guacamole with pomegranate is a must try. This is the first time we had guacamole with pomegranate and we loved it. The mole sauce was also very delicious. Try their margarita with mezcal and you won't be disappointed. Ask for Carlos. He was excellent at being our server. He was very attentive and friendly. There's indoor and outdoor seating and very nice and clean. I think this is a great find near the Fashion District.
Discovered this gem of a restaurant in downtown LA quite by accident! Great ambiance upon entering. And I must say that our Server Carlos really made the experience very special! He suggested the ceviche (which was incredibly delicious) and the guacamole as starters. We had their signature platter dish the Yxta Tablita, consisting of skirt steak, perfectly prepared, grilled juicy and very thinly sliced chicken breast, grilled shrimp on skewers, as well as assorted vegetables, rice, and beans. This was an absolutely spectacular meal! CARLOS was amazing, and he even served my wife and I complementary flan and coffee for our Birthdays! Really great experience in dining, I will definitely be back with friends and family! Hopefully Carlos will serve you!!
My wife and I were in the area for an event and we stumbled upon this place not expecting to eat here. The friendly greeter who turned out to be the manager, unfortunately told us that the place is going to close down in two weeks. But everything about this place was phenomenal from the friendly greeter at the front, to the mocktails and freshly made tortilla chips and guacamole as our appetizer, to the delicious food we were served. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the enchiladas de mole. The customer service here was absolutely outstanding and the servers were so fast and so friendly. The ambiance was so nice too. Music playing in back, people chatting amongst each other, not too loud but such a relaxing place to eat. And we got a really nice parting flan from the manager as dessert. My wife doesn't normally like flan, but she nearly ate the whole thing if she wasn't full. We were so sad for the place is going to close. I hope this review does something to reopen this place or keep this place open.
